Cici’s Pups x 5

These pups are registered miniature, long-haired dachshunds they are 3 1/2 weeks old.

This is Cici’s litter of 5 and that is a lot for a Dachshunds to take care of. There is a good shade variation in this group.

Shady Acres Leggett is on Facebook for more information on these beautiful puppies. I know there are deposits on a few of them but I have no idea which ones.

I love puppies they are so so sweet.

Fluffy little puppy kisses

Coco Chanel (Cici) the chocolate-colored Dachshund had her first litter of puppies.

They are almost 6 weeks old and so adorable I want to keep them all.

I love taking pictures of puppies and the Long-haired Dachshunds are so cute.

The brown and white male has not been reserved yet but the other two are reserved.

Shady Acres Leggett puppies are top quality, registered, and health checked. These 3 all have chocolate noses. If you are interested in a puppy contact Jeanelle on Facebook.

Fluffy little puppy kisses now that’s a good thing.

A Brindle Cane Corso Pup

This is the last one of Cricket’s pups I am babysitting while they are out of town.

He will be going to Connecticut next week by transport I have to get a health check at the vet for him to cross state lines.

I think his name is going to be Dallas he is 12 weeks old tomorrow.

He is very smart and knows commands to sit, come, and walks right beside you.

He is a very pretty brindle like his mom and has her big feet I hope he gets big like her. I love the stripes in the middle of his head it looks like his hair is parted.

Taking pictures of puppies is a lot of fun especially if they like to pose.

Dachshund Pups

Little Lady had her third litter of puppies every litter has been different.

The first litter was 3 pups, the second 4 pups, and this one 3 pups.

This is the first time all the pups have had red on them. Every time the pups are different but the last litter also had a red/white.

Cute pups that are 3 1/2 weeks old make the cutest pictures.

Daisy girl turns 9 years old

It seems like yesterday when we had this tiny little boxer we named Daisy.

Today she turns 9 years old.

She was an aggressive little pup and very opinionated. She hated long sleeves on anyone. The vet told us he thought whoever removed her dew claw and tail had long sleeves and they did a bad job on the dew- claw and probably hurt her.

We got her out of this stage and she became very playful loving to play fetch and jumping as high as she could and doing boxer acrobats. Then cooling off in her plastic pool like she was relaxing after a long hard day.

She still loves the Chunk It balls the orange one that is basically indestructible and she loves the big tug a war ball called the Jolly Ball.

She still talks to me when I talk directly to her and ask her questions lol. She loves a treat when she comes in from outside.

She sleeps more now and plays less but gets her energy spurts sometimes.

Pics with her ears like she’s flying I love and Jack says she’s the flying nun. She is still very photogenic and always has been.

Even though she’s a little bossy she will always be my Daisy Girl and I love her very much.

Happy 9th Birthday Daisy I hope someone gives you extra treats today lol.

A bucket of Pups

These 7 little Registered Cane Corso puppies were 6 weeks old when I took these pictures they are now 7 weeks old.

They will all be getting ear crops this week. I kept Crickets ears because I love those big old floppy ears but most people want them cropped.

Purple Collar is a feisty little girl I think the tan collar is a boy and I know aqua is a girl and the smallest of the bunch. In weight, she likes half the size of orange and red collar boys.

These little puppies are getting quite adventurous running, hiding, playing, wrestling, and finding their favorite stick to chew on.

They are quite hard to get group pics of even with the bucket some would jump out, some would get on top of others some would hide behind others. It was quite exhausting trying to pull this off.

There is nothing to compare to the cuteness of puppies.

Doggie Maternity Shots

Little Lady was expecting another litter of puppies.

I shot these pictures on Sunday, April 10th. in Livingston, Texas the day before she had the litter of three.

It looks like she’s posing for a Maternity Dog Magazine.

Cricket swallowed a watermelon

Cricket has decided to blossom and I do mean twice the size of the last pictures.

Everything is ready to go including the nanny cam.

She is carrying the pups deep from her back to her belly. That is one big belly.

We have had a lot of heavy breathing going on the last week they are running out of room. Jeanelle thinks there is 12 plus puppies. I HOPE NOT!

She is MUCH bigger than the pictures show I can not seem to get a good angle to show her true size.

Daisy girl

I found this picture from last year of Daisy and the way her head was tilted was so cute.

I decided I needed to post it so Daisy could say HELLO.

She is a talker you talk to her she talks back I have no idea what she is saying but she does talk.

Dogs bring lots of smiles to your life and joy to your heart.

Puppy update

The puppies are now 6 weeks old these pictures were taken at 5 week. They all have great personalities.

I make up pet names for all of them the first one is Curly Girl, the second Lucy, the third Stumpy, the fourth Chip. Stumpy is very short to the ground its just funny to see him run.

Lucy and Stumpy are both sold. She is keeping curly girl and Chip is being DNA tested to see what color pups he would throw he is the only male of the bunch. You can get a dogs DNA tested for $150.00.

The puppies mom Little Lady went home with our daughter and kids a few days ago we had started weening prior to this and they were only with mom at nighttime. I am feeding them food 3 x a day and they are drinking water really good. They love the grass and trying to run in it. They like to bite and chew on each other just to hear each other cry. The wrestle, play and love to be petted on. Curly girl rolls over for a tummy rub.

Taking care of this batch of pups has been fun but I would not want to do it all the time it is a lot of work cleaning up after puppies and keeping their area sterilized.

Zoee has taken on the job of the surrogate mom babysitting them on the back porch while they are in their handmade play pen area.

These pups are using the puppy pads in both locations as well as potting in the grass when outdoors.

These pups have been a good change of pace from the everyday routine of staying home and out of the general public.

Life is good and puppies make me smile.
