Raindrops and Roses

I love the smell of a good rain.

There is something about raindrops on rose petals the depth of the drops with the bright color of the rose and the definition between the two. It is all about the details.

If you have a good macro lens and a bright colored rose give this a try after a rain.

Cream Colors

Sometimes there a picture that you take that requires some special editing.

This one was one of those pictures I added a cream tone to the coloring and a vignette on the edges.

This picture of the rose was taken with my macro lens. I use that lens a lot.

Macro of a Rose

I love photographing flowers with a macro lens and it is all the better when there is moisture on the flowers from recent rain.

This is a knockout rose in our backyard.

Flowers can brighten our days and give us great joy.

A rose is a rose

The smell of a rose is like no other.

The beauty these flowers show each and every day is amazing that is why we love the knockout roses.

This was an early morning low light picture of a rose with morning dew.

My favorite pictures to take are early in the morning the light is magical and you can do so much with it.

Sometimes beauty is all around us we just have to open our eyes to see it.

Morning dew and the roses

There is always plenty of dew in the mornings around here.
I love capturing the dew on the rose petals because it always looks like tiny crystals.

The early morning light is my favorite light to shoot in because its a white light.
Have a great weekend everyone.
