Zoee is the newest member of our household. She is a 16 week old Boxer.
Daisy has been without another doggie companion for the last 4 years and every time she can be around other dogs she truly loves it.
We decided to get her a companion and along came Zoee. I believe you would call her coloring a reverse brindle she has quite a bit of reddish brown in her coat that I see when the sun is shining on it.
This was truly her first photo session she and Daisy were playing hide and seek and needless to say the heather got a bit trampled but it sure made some cute pics.
She has the cutest personality and this ear thing she does. We are currently trying to get some weight on her since she is underweight. We are also potty training and that seems to be going quite good.
I believe she is going to be a smaller boxer than Daisy and more dainty.
I want to get some pics this week or next of the two of them together hopefully the weather cooperates and the yard dries up.
The other day I was watching a blue jay in a new bird bath in the backyard. I grabbed my camera to get outside to get a few pics.
Well, Miss. Daisy pushed her way out the door and then put herself in between the bird bath and me like she knew what I was doing. Either that or she wanted to pose for pictures who knows with Miss. Daisy.
The next day while I was looking out the den window I spotted him again this time I stayed in the house and shot through the window using my 400 mm lens. I did this just so Daisy would not know what I was doing lol. She always has to be the center of attention.
He sure is a cute little one and he really seems to love the bird bath.
I have always put the bird baths in the shade and never had a lot of action this one is in the sun most of the day and gets noticed by the birds. Maybe I should move the other two.
Today is Miss. Daisy’s 5th. birthday.
She got 2 new plastic pools, 3 new balls, a no pull harness so I can walk her easier at the park, breakfast and dinner scraps and plenty of dog treats. We played fetch atleast 4 times today.
Last night she got a 4-pound peanut butter jug that was down to almost nothing but she loves getting the jugs lol.
We did two outdoor photo sessions today one in the early afternoon and one a little bit ago.
Daisy’s favorite game is playing fetch multiple times a day. She gets hot then she dunks in her pool and then she is ready to go again. Notice the ball is in the pool.
She may be a year older and she has slowed down since she was a puppy but she is still very active for a 63# boxer that is 5 years old.
Happy Birthday, Daisy we love you.
Jack, Daisy and I would like to wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
In the first picture, Daisy was bored waiting for the next treat. The monkey beside her is her new toy for Christmas.
I almost did not get these done this year. My studio is messed up right now and it is to wet outdoors to do pictures. We had to do them in the guest room. The sweater fits her fine but the tee shirt was to tight so we had to skip it.
Be careful if your on the roads traveling this weekend. Enjoy your time with your family, friends and most of all your pets.
On April 22, my Daisy girl turns four years old.
It seems like yesterday I had this wild puppy who was so hyperactive you could not wear her out.
She turned into this beautiful boxer who loves to go places in the truck and pose for pictures. Every day she has to play fetch it is her game of choice and she loves to cool off in her pool when she gets too hot.
She is very good with our grandchildren and loves it when they give her some of their food or play with her.
Daisy did not like the dark sunglasses but I managed to get a few pics before she tried to get them off.
The sun visor she did not mind and I figured she would hate it.
She even winks sometimes during our sessions but when she gets bored she just closes her eyes to ignore me.
Here are a few of my favorite pictures.
Daisy and I have been having a lot of fun in the studio.
Her serious face cracked me up in this picture but it was perfect for the Boxer Bear hat.
Normally it is just the two us so getting her to look on cue and hold my camera at the same time can be tricky. I normally sit on the ground so that were on the same level so I am not shooting down at her.
We have learned to work together and accomplish what we need to in about 10 minutes time as long as I have plenty of treats.
I think it is time to order a new 11 x 14 for the wall lol.
