Cici’s Pups x 5

These pups are registered miniature, long-haired dachshunds they are 3 1/2 weeks old.

This is Cici’s litter of 5 and that is a lot for a Dachshunds to take care of. There is a good shade variation in this group.

Shady Acres Leggett is on Facebook for more information on these beautiful puppies. I know there are deposits on a few of them but I have no idea which ones.

I love puppies they are so so sweet.

Dachshund Pups

Little Lady had her third litter of puppies every litter has been different.

The first litter was 3 pups, the second 4 pups, and this one 3 pups.

This is the first time all the pups have had red on them. Every time the pups are different but the last litter also had a red/white.

Cute pups that are 3 1/2 weeks old make the cutest pictures.

Puppy update

The puppies are now 6 weeks old these pictures were taken at 5 week. They all have great personalities.

I make up pet names for all of them the first one is Curly Girl, the second Lucy, the third Stumpy, the fourth Chip. Stumpy is very short to the ground its just funny to see him run.

Lucy and Stumpy are both sold. She is keeping curly girl and Chip is being DNA tested to see what color pups he would throw he is the only male of the bunch. You can get a dogs DNA tested for $150.00.

The puppies mom Little Lady went home with our daughter and kids a few days ago we had started weening prior to this and they were only with mom at nighttime. I am feeding them food 3 x a day and they are drinking water really good. They love the grass and trying to run in it. They like to bite and chew on each other just to hear each other cry. The wrestle, play and love to be petted on. Curly girl rolls over for a tummy rub.

Taking care of this batch of pups has been fun but I would not want to do it all the time it is a lot of work cleaning up after puppies and keeping their area sterilized.

Zoee has taken on the job of the surrogate mom babysitting them on the back porch while they are in their handmade play pen area.

These pups are using the puppy pads in both locations as well as potting in the grass when outdoors.

These pups have been a good change of pace from the everyday routine of staying home and out of the general public.

Life is good and puppies make me smile.

Little Ladies pups

Little lady and the Tramp had their 2nd litter of miniature long hair Dachshunds pups a few weeks ago.

I have been babysitting her and the pups since our daughter and her family moved. They have no place for pups at the moment.

Just like last time she had quite the varieties of colors. She ended up with a few piebalds and a dapple this time as well as black and tan. The dapple is the brown one and his spots make him look like a chocolate chip. She is considering keeping the gray/ black piebald on the end we call this one Fatty.

Sweet little puppies all colors and sizes are just to cute for words.

Meet Honey

Honey is an 8 week old miniature Dachshund that our daughter added to their family of dogs. As you can tell she is a blonde.

Little Lady and The Tramp have welcomed her to the Weenie Dog Family and she and Little Lady play chase and wrestle while Tramp tracks whatever critters have crossed the paths of their yard. He gets on a trail and gets distracted.

She came over to play in the clover in the pasture it was a hoot to watch her she would disappear because the clover was taller than her. Then she would come out soaking wet from the morning dew. Hopping through the clover like a rabbit she was all worn out by the time she was done and went and took a nap.

I am sure there will be more photo sessions of Miss Honey coming soon.

Three little Dachshunds

Three and a half weeks old and when they see people here they come for some attention wagging their tails.

I love that their colors are all so different. Our daughter has studied genetics and understands this a lot more than I do. The colors of the mom and dad produce the colors you end up with. I think her combination seems to be working out well because all these colors are beautiful.

I think our grandkids have spoiled these little cuties. Yesterday they were holding them wrapped in towels while they were watching tv. The towels were in case they happened to pee on them lol.

Little puppies can put a smile on anyone’s face..

New puppy on the farm

The twin girls wanted a puppy they could hold. Something small and cuddly.

After researching breeds our daughter Jeanelle and her husband David decided on a miniature long hair dapple dachshund.

She does not officially have a name yet but we have heard the names Lady, Little Lady and Pebbles from the kids.

The first picture she is in a child’s size fedora hat I figured this would show her size pretty good.

Monday was her first official photo session with me and needless to say she was quite easy to photograph.
