Bluebell is a full-size Jersey milk cow. She was named after the ice cream and living in Texas it only made sense to name her that.
Our daughter Jeanelle was ready to have a milk cow she wants to learn to make butter, cream, ice cream, and cheese and much more. Bluebell will be having a baby in October.
The first picture was really good timing not that I wanted to see a cow put their tongue up their nose lol.
I love cows big or small they all seem to photograph quite well. Bluebells eyes are just amazing.
Last weekend our daughter, her husband, and children went to pick up a registered miniature Hereford. Meet Scamper she is 19 months old.
She is halter broke, very friendly and has been getting to know her new surroundings. She and the goats seem to be okay with each other. Andrew has actually walked her a few times this is how gentle she is.
As a miniature, she will not get any taller just stockier. She will top out with a weight at 650# – 850#s.
I am looking forward to more photo sessions with Scamper.
This is Princess she is goat # 2 and is 5 weeks old.
She has this cute smudge of mascara below her eye.
The funny thing about these little goats is when you sit on the ground to take their pictures they come and sit in your lap like a dog.
Karina picked this goat and when you have twin girls that are 3 years old they both wanted to name their goat’s Princess lol. Finally, we got Sophia to pick a different name since Karina said it first.
Since Princess is younger than Clover she is super fast like lighting her little legs almost seem to be flying. She is taking a bottle 3 times a day right now that is a powder goat supplement. They are eating hay and goat pellets along with calf mana to put on some weight.
At the same time, they got this little girl they got another one but that is another post.
Stay tuned for more goats to come.
