I caught these two cows smelling each other’s breath. Actually, I think the one on the left was curious about what the one on the right was eating.
Sometimes it’s about capturing those moments you never see happen and using your imagination to decide what they were doing.
Cows have this really cute personality about them that some people never notice.
I know I have said this 100 times or more but I love cows they have the best expressions.
They all have different personalities but this one likes to get her picture taken she kept looking at me and the camera.
I guess it goes to show you there are some glamour cows out there.
There are a lot of people who post ugly selfies on facebook that could learn a few lessons from this cow.
This is our daughter Jeanelle’s herd of cows at their family farm.
The Miniature Herefords are on the left side. The Jersey milk cow and calf in the middle, the Belted Galloways on the right.
Left to right is Cecil the bull, Penny the youngest heifer, Scamper who is Pennys mom, Cadilac, Blue Bell, Sirloin son of Blue Bell, Oreo and Darla.
I love cows they have such cute personalities this group is very friendly and very photogenic.
This is one of the two calves next door to us
They have grown so much in the last 2 1/2 weeks.
I was able to get out and slosh through the muddy pasture in my rubber boots and get a few good pictures.
The other calf was not interested in getting his picture taken this one seemed quite curious.
These two pics are the same but they are edited differently as well as cropped differently.
I love the new crops like the first one.
One of the joys of living in the country is getting to enjoy the cows.
I take pictures of cows & calves quite often but I think this is one of my favorites.
I grabbed a few more pictures of the mama cows and the calves.
The first two pictures that baby is a week younger than the other one.
They are adorable always running and acting silly.
My brother n law moved these heifers back next door to us.
I figured it was because they were about to calf and it looks like I was right.
The first one had a calf a week ago and another had one this past Sunday I have not gotten pics of that one yet.
I hope to get more pics soon in the mud using my rubber boots to tromp across the pasture lol.
The first calf was born on the farm and she is a registered miniature Hereford heifer named Penny.
She is about 2 weeks old in these pictures and you can tell she is very small. Compare her to the fence post by her mom.
She loves the kids and all the attention she has been getting.
Bluebell is a full-size Jersey milk cow. She was named after the ice cream and living in Texas it only made sense to name her that.
Our daughter Jeanelle was ready to have a milk cow she wants to learn to make butter, cream, ice cream, and cheese and much more. Bluebell will be having a baby in October.
The first picture was really good timing not that I wanted to see a cow put their tongue up their nose lol.
I love cows big or small they all seem to photograph quite well. Bluebells eyes are just amazing.
Shady Acres Rosharon has two types of miniature cows.
There are two miniature Herefords and two Belted Galloway’s. The black and white Galloway Oreo is currently at the breeder being bred. Scamper is officially bred and due in late October to early November.
The one in the middle in the top picture is Scamper to her left is Cadilac and Darla is to the right.
We hand pick clover out of our pasture for her animals they all love it.
The cows are all super friendly and love to get attention.
