Have a great weekend and do something you enjoy.
Have a great weekend and do something you enjoy.
Our two boxers dogs love to run, play and wrestle together.
Daisy is 6 yrs and 9 months & Zoee is 1 yr 6 months.
They get into these kissing sessions that are normally initiated by Miss Zoee she loves her Miss Daisy girl.
I wanted to do their pics together so I raked up the cypress tree leaves into a large pile and this was their idea of a photo session.
Gotta love these two doggies.
Daisy and Zoee are the best of friends.
They wrestle, play fetch together and they love tug of war. I am so grateful they have each other.
They are BOTH spoiled rotten. Most of the time when I order from Chewy they know the boxes. I think they smell them but anyway they normally get new balls, toys or chews. Well now when I get a box from Amazon there standing there like “what did you get me now” these are some crazy spoiled dogs.
Dogs need plenty of exercise and there is plenty of room to run and play here at our house. Its been so hot we try not to play fetch unless its early a.m. or late p.m. but sometimes Daisy insist on it.
Zoee had a visit a week ago to the vet shes having some enviromental allergies so we are bathing her in a special shampoo for that. In the country who knows what that could be.
Daisy loves her pool and Zoee loves the waterhose I guess that is never going to change. Zoee makes it really hard to water my plants.
The dogs have been on Iiams dog food for a good while. Our daughter was telling me what she feeds the Cane Corsos is the ” Diamond High Energy” it has 24% protein and 20% fat so its good for active dogs. You can get it at the feed stores. They also have a regular one for those not so high energy dogs.
They are in the process of trying this new food out they have had this bag about 1 week. They do not seem to be eating as much of it which tells me they must be getting fuller.
Cost wise the Iiams 33# bag was about $33.00 the Diamond is a 50# bag for $30.00 so its much cheaper and a better quality food. Hopefully it works out. I wanted to pass this onto all my friends with several dogs.
Sometimes capturing these two on camera can be a challenge but I grabbed a few shots Thursday evening and Friday morning early.
The first picture they both have their eyes shut. Zoee can pull Daisy around when playing Tug of War I have not figured out how. The third picture Daisy was waiting for the ball to be thrown. Last picture Zoee was trying to figure out how to steal the chuck it thrower.
Our two boxers love water.
Daisy loves her plastic pool and Zoee is obsessed with the water hose.
Tuesday we had close to 6″ of rain in a few hours.
It was raining so fast and hard it could not drain off fast enough so our backyard looked like this.
I decided to let the dogs out to see what they would do and these pictures pretty much tell the story. I wish I knew what they were thinking.
On April 22, 2013, the most beautiful boxer was born.
Our Daisy girl is six years old and she still acts like a puppy on most days.
I never knew a dog could have so much personality.
She talks to us and can get quite sassy sometimes.
She loves to sleep at the foot of our bed covered up everywhere but her head. That does not mean that if she gets cold in the night she will not get between us lol.
When I am gone somewhere and get back home she expects something special & now she has taught Zoee this trick. I keep a bag of special treats for those occasions. They get dog biscuits on a daily basis so those do not count lol.
Daisy has brought so much joy to our lives I have no idea what we would have done without her. I am glad she and Zoee have each other because she’s a good sister mama & Zoee is a great companion for her.
I will try and get some more pics this week she was not being very cooperative yesterday.
This picture is her waiting for Zoee to come outside and join her. That anticipation look.
Happy Birthday, Daisy Girl! We Love you.
Our two boxers Daisy and Zoee both seem to love the water hose.
Zoee will not back off and scares me she’s going to choke on the water so she has to be monitored.
Daisy runs and gets it and then runs off.
They had a good time on Sunday once our Texas warm weather kicked back in.
This all started because I was trying to water plants and flowers. Zoee thinks that is her time and she got Daisy involved in her water hose game.
Dogs just wanna have fun & have a little playtime.
Daisy and Zoees favorite game is playing tug of war with a jolly ball.
On April 22, my Daisy girl turns four years old.
It seems like yesterday I had this wild puppy who was so hyperactive you could not wear her out.
She turned into this beautiful boxer who loves to go places in the truck and pose for pictures. Every day she has to play fetch it is her game of choice and she loves to cool off in her pool when she gets too hot.
She is very good with our grandchildren and loves it when they give her some of their food or play with her.
Daisy did not like the dark sunglasses but I managed to get a few pics before she tried to get them off.
The sun visor she did not mind and I figured she would hate it.
She even winks sometimes during our sessions but when she gets bored she just closes her eyes to ignore me.
Here are a few of my favorite pictures.
