Verticle gardens are amazing and a verticle herb garden is just perfect.
This would also work great for flowers if someone wanted an accent wall.
I started out wanting to use a pallet but they are too heavy to hang on a wooden fence.
My husband decided he could build me something much lighter but the same sort of concept.
I ordered the fence clips, bought the pots, painted the wood and personalized it for my sister her birthday is today.
My husband came up with the idea of staggering the clips on each row so the water did not flood out the next ones down.
1 x 3 x 6 – 3 pieces
2 x 2 x 8 – 1 piece
Pots clips will work on 4″ -8″ pots – 12 packs on Amazon
Pots – we used 6″ pots for this one x 11
Accent stones if you want.
We ended up adding two more rows of clips after I took the pictures now it can hold a total of 18 pots.
I ordered more clips because now I want one or two lol.
Having the herbs on a nearby wall outside is so much more convenient.
Today is Miss. Daisy’s 5th. birthday.
She got 2 new plastic pools, 3 new balls, a no pull harness so I can walk her easier at the park, breakfast and dinner scraps and plenty of dog treats. We played fetch atleast 4 times today.
Last night she got a 4-pound peanut butter jug that was down to almost nothing but she loves getting the jugs lol.
We did two outdoor photo sessions today one in the early afternoon and one a little bit ago.
Daisy’s favorite game is playing fetch multiple times a day. She gets hot then she dunks in her pool and then she is ready to go again. Notice the ball is in the pool.
She may be a year older and she has slowed down since she was a puppy but she is still very active for a 63# boxer that is 5 years old.
Happy Birthday, Daisy we love you.
I really love going to the beach and getting to take pictures of the shorebirds.
These tiny sandpipers are always in a large group close to the waters edge it’s pretty easy to get their pictures with their reflections.
We spent yesterday at the beach because that was what I wanted to do for my birthday which so happens to be today.
Normally my birthdays are always spent doing something that involves taking pictures because that is what I love to do.
I will be sharing more pictures of the beach trip this week.
Today is my dad’s birthday he would have been 78 – years old.
He passed away September 1, 2014 – 3 years ago from esophageal cancer right before he would have been 75.
I think the hardest part of my dad dying was that I replay our last conversations over and over in my head.
I have put the pieces together of EVERYTHING he was trying to tell me. My dad was trying to warn me what would happen when he was gone he was trying to prepare me for it. Nothing could ever prepare me for what has happened.
Happy Birthday, DAD, I love you and miss you.
