Princess #2

Meet Princess #2, unfortunately, Princess # 1 had an accident and died we were all upset over that. Our 4-year-old twin granddaughters needed another princess. Funny thing is they were both white goats.

I love her eyes they remind me of a deer. She is spotted and its so cute. Look at her tummy lol.

She was dancing in a circle to eat the tree limbs and I was able to grab a few cute shots of her. I have no idea why they go nuts over cypress trees but they do.

The farm is continually growing. They are picking up a bred Jersey Milk Cow full size and a Minature Hereford bull this weekend. More pics to come in the next week or so.

Dancing Goat’s

I was able to get a few more goat pictures but they were not being very cooperative. When the goats get let out of their pen they have one thing on their mind and that is eating.

Some of the goats I have shown you before and others are new to the blog.

The black goat that has the white spots name is Valentine she was just bred for the first time.

The white goat that has the black spots is named Boney she is older and has had babies a few times before but is a good milker.  She too was just bred.

Clover is the brownest one with black and some white.

Buttercup is brown and white but has quite a bit of white. She is also the one standing by herself in the picture. I love the expression on her face it was like she was talking lol.

Clover and Buttercup will not be bred until the spring.

It appears that the goats were dancing in these pictures when all they were really doing was trying to reach the leaves on the cypress tree.

As you can tell these goats are well-fed thanks to buttercup showing off her pot belly.

Texas the goat

Texas is the new stud muffin at the little farm.

His hair that stands up on back of his neck and his goat beard make me laugh.

He has that typical male goat smell so, for now, he will be put in a pen that can be moved around. The first day he was there he bred two of the older females, Boney and Valentine. Those babies will be born around Valentines Day.

The younger goats Clover and Buttercup will not be breed until the springtime.

The other male goat Gruff is younger than Texas and does not stink quite yet.

The personalities of goats can always make you laugh.
