Like a painting

There is something about woodpeckers that amaze me.

I love their noises and the sound of them pecking into the wood of a tree but I love their colors and the fact they are quite photogenic.

The crepe myrtles are blooming and this adds to the background of this picture it gives it the look of a painting.

The beauty and the sounds of the wildlife accented with the colors of nature makes this a great day.
