I want to wish everyone a Very Merry Christmas.
If you are traveling please stay safe wear your mask when in public or in groups of people you are not around on a daily basis.
If you can have your get togethers outdoors do so if not turn the heat down to limit the spread indoors. The reason hospitals keep it so cold is to keep germs from spreading you can do the same indoors.
Get tested 5 – 7 days after being around this group of people this lowers the chances of COVID spreading even more. You are not just around a new group of people you are around everyone they have been around.
If you want to stay safe and keep others safe limit your exposure to people until you get test results back. There is a 15-minute rapid result test if you are really worried about exposure. There are even drive-thru testing sites.
Our family split up celebrations this year yesterday we had lunch with my mother n law and we had a picnic outdoors with seafood which we picked up. She will be around a large group today and will be getting tested next Friday 7 days after being around the large group.
Since our son and his family will be around a large group today they will not see my mother n law or us until after our testing next Friday. It is better to do it this way than take a chance of someone getting covid.
If everyone would do their part we can get through this much quicker.

I wish more people had this attitude. I’m in the UK where we have a fast-spreading COVID-19 variant and still people are wandering around without masks and ignoring the social distancing guidelines. Here’s to having a safe and happy Christmas.

They have asked bars, clubs and restaurants to cut back to 50% capacity in our area. We have a few counties that are higher than the norm with new cases.

Thank you. I did not go out and about and shop I figure since my husband and I both have limited our shopping all year long why start now. Amazon is okay for those things you need and we do curbside pick up for groceries but I actually miss getting to shop. I miss getting out and about but do not dare take the chance. I hope you get off lockdown soon and feel secure to go out and about.
