We have purple showers planted everywhere around here they are easy to grow and invasive so they spread quickly.
The scientific name is Ruellia simplex ‘Purple Showers also known as mexican petunia.
There is something about flowers, fence post and barbed wire that I love.

I don’t think I’ve seen these before. Glad they are called a petuna because that’s what I thought they were! LOL.
