I made some cabbage soup last night for something a little different to eat and it was really good.
1 – cabbage cut into chunks
1 medium sized onion
Olive Oil a couple of tablespoons
Sautee the above
Two cans of diced tomatoes
A couple of dashes of red pepper depending on how hot you like things.
Carrots 5 large ones slice thin or a package of frozen ones that are sliced.
Celery 3 – 4 good stalks chopped up.
Garlic I used a tablespoon of minced garlic
2 cups of water
2 tablespoons of Chicken Bouillion I like the “Better than Bouillon” one.
1 can of black eyed peas with juice
Cook unil your carrots are done.
The only thing I would do different next time is add in some good cooked sausage but I did not have any.
