The Eastern Bluebirds

The Eastern bluebirds nested somewhere close by our house but not in any of our 6 birdhouses.I caught the dad and two babies in the birdbath yesterday.

I have been seeing lots of activity at the birdbaths due to the heat. They like the shallow ones rather than my deep ones but I added stuff in the deep ones but they are still a no go.

I love getting to see the young ones I have never seen the juvenile bluebirds before.

This really made my day.

  1. LOVE your bluebird babies! Years ago we had bluebirds in our box, but not for many years. I know there are still families of them around, just not living in my yard. So happy to see yours!
